"Teaching should be such that what is offered is perceived as a valuable gift and not as a hard duty."
-Albert Einstein
Welcome to my teaching portfolio!
It is my great joy to share with you a portion of what I have been working on for the past four years at Bucknell University as I have pursued certification as an elementary teacher. I have always loved working with children and sparking their excitment for learning, in addition to helping them build the confidence they need to develop and be successful learners and people.
My portfolio is a collection of different pieces that together demonstrate my competency as a teacher in six different categories: Knowledge of Students, Content Mastery, Planning, Structuring Classroom Environment, Instruction, Professionalism and Adaptations for ELL and students with special needs. My competency as a teacher is showcased through the artifacts and reflections that I have included in each of these categories. To view these artifacts and reflections place the cursor over the category whose pieces you wish to see and click on the title. This should re-direct you the page with that particular artifact and corresponding reflection.
I hope you enjoy viewing my teaching portfolio!
